Families in Focus: "AIDS in the Family" Caucus: New Jersey is the national award-winning public affairs television series broadcast on Thirteen/WNET (PBS), NJN-Public Television (PBS), and various cable stations across the state. Caucus combines in-depth documentary coverage with penetrating studio interviews and discussion. Caucus: New Jersey is the most watched news and public affairs program dealing with New Jersey issues. It is broadcast to over 9 million people and can be seen in six states including New York, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Delaware, Maryland and New Jersey. In its twelve years on the air, Caucus has
tackled a range of important issues affecting the state, including New Jersey's death
penalty, race relations, education reform, the future of our children, and the changing
state of the American family. Roche Pharmaceuticals provided a grant to Caucus: New Jersey
to produce, "AIDS in the Family," a one-hour presentation focusing on the
difficulties and challenges faced by families coping with AIDS. The installment was part
of "Families in Focus," a series of programs examining the most crucial issues
confronting the modern American Family. |
